The Chancel Choir leads the singing in worship and generally offers an anthem and other response(s). At times, soloists or ensembles are drawn from the group for special music. Realizing that the congregation (and the choir) is composed of people of several age groups and musical interests, we try to include variety in our selections.
The Choir is composed of people of middle school age and older and we rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 PM. You don't need to be a skilled singer or music reader to be in the choir. You just need a desire to serve in this ministry and a willingness to participate regularly in worship and rehearsals.
